A massive folding map that compiles dozens of explorers and cartographers efforts from the 1860's right up to 1894 and the time the map was made. Showing from north of Cameroon and interior central Africa, stretching south to Massabi and beyond. Large insets for the area include the area of "Tchad et Nil" as well as the mouth of the Congo river. Details the area with amazing focus and includes some interesting manuscript notations that appear to divide it into regions and perhaps even plantations.
Condition is good though the original canvas backing is splitting. Some foxing/ soiling. Image size is approximately 49.5 x 37 (inches)
