A fine engraving of the Americas from the upper reaches of Canada, to the South Shetland islands below South America. Well detailed it is hand colored to identify colonial possession, and with bold red, the British lands are identified throughout from Canada to the Caribbean, to the Falklands and other south Atlantic islands. The map identifies the major cities and towns, the major hydrography and topography, and includes a lot of obscure islands in both the Pacific and Atlantic.
