"Areas of permanent polar ice" is the first thing that grabs you in looking at this map, while it was prescient of this new frontier for the oil and gas industry, it hadn't forecast that the vast white area between Greenland, Siberia and northern Canada would be ice free in the decades to come. Shows the fields, existing pipeline as well as general water depths.
