A classic map of the state not long after the completion of the Union Pacific rail line, but well prior to development throughout most of the state. In looking at the map it immediately strikes you that this was the "Wild West" era of Nebraska. A large Pawnee reservation still remains in the eastern counties. The original hand color is soft, but still very present.
