A rare large format map of the primitive territory of Wyoming, with five counties ("Uinta", "Sweetwater", "Carbon", "Albany", "Laramie") dividing it. While the top two - thirds of the map is mainly hydrography, save for a detailed look at Yellowstone, the southern portion shows the railroad and its many stops along the way. Distances between each stop is noted, and little is shown to exist once you leave the path of the tracks.

Condition is very good, with some small binding perforations in the top margin, but otherwise outstanding with bold original hand color. Image size is 16 x 23 (inches).
