A great hand colored engraving for the vast mysterious continent and its neighboring lands. Gives amazing detail for the best of what was known for the continents interior, and includes some interesting notations. This early edition of Sanson's map shows Korea as an island just across from Japan, and nearby is an interesting west coast for North America (which notes "Quivira" and "New Albion") .
