Tallis produced some to the most decorative maps issued in the 19th century. All have baroque vignettes and unique ornate borders. The map of Belgium is surrounded by four small vignettes relating to native life of the region including the Antwerp Cathedral and the Monuments on the Plains of Waterloo.
Condition is very good with a close top margin. Image size is 10 inches x 13 inches with some outline color.
