The Birds-eye-View Downtown Denver, Pierson Graphics, 1982
Rooted in Denver for decades, Pierson Graphics was a robust map publishing company that included a great retail store. Always active in covering Colorado and the front range they also expanded their view to other regional markets like Chicago and parts of Texas.
Here is their very modern 3-D birds eye for Downtown Denver which was first issued in 1974, and here was updated (and scaled down a bit), published in 1982. Over a hundred buildings are numbered and identified through their key, and each building noted is illustrated with architectural detail. This view spans from Union Station, to the Auraria campuses, and over to the Denver Art Museum and State Capitol. An uncommon and great snapshot of Denver before the regrowth of the city center.
Condition is good with some very light staining and faint dampstaining to the right side. Image size is approximately 24 x 23.25 (inches)
