The Gold rush is on, and this map shows the areas for the "Diggings", notes the towns and different ranches, but is an early instance to show the roads, drainages and development in the Bay Area. Spans south to Monterey, up to Sacramento, and north beyond Bodaga. A favorite for the early Northern California.
