Perspective Base Map County Of Los Angeles
Our first encounter with this bird's eye view "perspective" map for southern California, particular to LA county. While we can not find an attribution to a specific artist or mapmaker, it feels pretty clearly to us that it is the work of Charles Owen, a pictorial mapmaker active mostly in the 1930's and 40's who created a number of different thematic birds eye map. This copy appears to have been created by a blue print process and while good, loses detail and crispness in its detail.
