A large two sided masterpiece by Don Bloodgood, for San Diego and Balboa Park. Done for the 1935 Exposition, which was really an economic rally for the region as it lay in the shadow of the depression. But in looking at this beautiful pictorial map, you couldn't imagine happier or sunnier scenes. Bloodgood style is always playful, and busy with activity, and this is no exception. With one side of the map showing the San Diego area, from the border to La Jolla, the other side shows all the activities and attractions in the exposition grounds of Balboa Park.

Condition is very good. Image size is 21 x 30.5 (inches).
