A fun souvenir view for the city, which works at showing the city along the North Saskatchewan River, noting the key buildings and latest developments. Beyond a dense downtown are the two landmarks of the West Edmonton Mall, and the University, until the plains run right up to the Canadian Rockies. We see a rough sketch of Vancouver and then hanging on the horizon are Japan and the U.S.S.R. This is a fast and simple interpretation of Saul Steinberg's premise for the city, but Edmonton doesn't always get this kind of attention. Condition is very good.
