Stretching from the Atlantic coast, to the Hudson Bay and beyond, this map tackles interior Canada as it was not long after the decline of the Fur trade. Notes numerous Indian tribes throughout, and addresses the hydrography with considerable detail. Hand color identifies the national boundaries which were "settled by treaty August 9th 1842". An inset show the vicinity of Niagara falls.
