A fine example of the caliber of cartography that the French were producing in the 19th century. Beautiful sharp engravings on fine quality paper, this complimented by a bit of hand color, they are attractive maps, and this has endured very well. From a set that studies both ancient and recent history, this map is an interesting study done by Brue. Very good condition.
