A fine instance of his evolving work that was striving to keep up with the changes in science at the time. This is one of his individually issued charts that is backed with linen and was offered in a series at book sellers of the time. At the bottom is a note stating..."On this Map we have indicated, according to the Knowledge of Times, the denomination of all the Stars which must be occulted by the Moon. Those of Flamsteed by slanted figures, those of T. Mayer by figures in parentheses and those of Baily by straight figures." Condition is very good. Overall size is approximately 31.25 x 10 (inches)
