COLORADO, Cram, 1892
While it's still a young state, the growth and evolution are staggering. By this point, dozens of counties divide the eastern plains, railroads reach deep into the mountains and across most of the western slope. Towns abound almost everywhere and settlement continues. This map shows the major mountain chains, with the "Continental Divide" shown winding across the state.
