(CO. - Denver) A Map of the City of Denver, Daniels - Smith Co., c. 1930 It's a classic composition for the city of the time, which includes a small inset for neighboring Englewood, and looks to be the same base map that the Clason Map Co. pioneered and evolved. This early instance does still show a small "Lowry Field" next to the Park Hill Golf Club, and a "Denver Municipal Airport" with just two hangars. Sloan's lake is still being shown as two connected bodies with "Sloans Lake" and "Coopers Lake". Condition is very good. Image size is approximately 15 x 17.25 (inches)
