(CO.)Nell's New Topographical &; Township Map Prepared Expressly for Crofutt's Grip-Sack Guide of Colorado...., Nell's, 1881
Louis Nell had been the brains and skilled wrist behind the Army's efforts to map the West on Capt Wheeler, and he had detailed region after region from the 1870's to the 1880's. This map of his new home state was an above average reference that showed terrain, towns, railroads, wagon roads and so much more. Done in a little smaller size this map was included in one of the better travelers guides of the time, Crofutt's guide. Hand colored by county. An amazing reference for anyone interested in Colorado history.
Condition is very good, clean and backed with linen. Size is approximately 18 x 24.75 (inches)
