Preliminary Map of Central Colorado Showing the Region Surveyed in 1873...
One of the early works from Hayden and his men as they began to unravel the complexities of the Colorado Territory. This "preliminary" map reaches from the front range from well below Canon City and the Wet Mountains, up to Longmont and just beyond the Big Thompson River, and west into the Elk Mountains. Shows the roads, drainages, towns and railroads, as well as major mountain peaks and some mine notations.
Condition is very good with typical closer left margin. Image size is approximately 33.5 x 21.5 (inches)
