(CO. - Rail) The Great Western Railway Co., GWR, 1950 A small practical line that serviced an industry. Back when sugar beets were king along the northern front range, it was a valuable crop that needed a real level of rail infrastructure, and the Great Western Railway was it. To connect the small towns of the plains with the larger hubs of Longmont, Eaton, or even Denver, this was the backbone line that did the job. The line was founded in 1901 and still exists today and connects to the B.N.S.F. and U.P. lines. Condition is very good for this small route map. Image size is approximately 10.5 x 7.25 (inches)
