A fine copperplate engraved map of South Africa by one of America's early cartographic publishers. Shows the basics of cities, towns, rivers, and terrain. Full of practical notations for land quality and even a note in the hills for "Paintings of animals in the Caves of these Mountains". Black and white as issued.
Condition is good with some old staining and discoloration. Image size is 10 x 8 (inches).
