(CO)Outline Map of the Middle Park Region and the Eastern Rocky Mountain Slope Showing Drainage, Roads, Trails, Peaks and Passess to Accompany the Geographical Report of G.R. Bechler, Hayden - US Govt,. 1876
Hayden issued a number of preliminary maps of parts of Colorado before issuing his great atlas of the state. This map shows the area from Denver to above Minturn today, and from Mt. Evans to the Big Thompson River. It is nicely detailed as the title intones. A great early map that while primitve is still very informative and relevant. Spans from Denver and the front range to just west of "Gores Pass", not far from Kremmling.
Condition is fair with some loss and repairs to old folds, specifically on fold above Long's Peak. Image size is 19 x 22 (inches).
