An amazing work for layers upon layers of information, yet to remain clear, legible and engaging.

The base map for the city is rich with buildings and points of interest as well as major infrastructure, but it's the inclusion of the geology, an afterthought to almost anyone studying the city, but the foundation of what makes it possible. Created by N.H. Darton, Arthur Ketih and Martha S. Carr, this large map would probably be the last that Darton would have had influence on as he passed away around the time. Darton himself was a noted, self taught scholar and prolific mapmaker, with many geologic and hydro-graphic works for the West.

Condition is very good. Overall size is approximately 30 x 30.5 (inches)
