Map Showing The Lands assigned to Emigrant Indians West of Arkansas & Missouri.
This map was issued by the Corps of Engineers showing a region that is today Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri. It shows how the lands are divided among the various Indian Tribes. Other things are included as well such as the rivers and roads including the route to Santa Fe. To one side are several lists of the Indian tribes, their population and acreage.
