Oxonium Comitatus, Vulgo Oxfordshire
A hand colored engraving for the famous shire that holds the great university. Shows the towns, drainages, regional boundaries and the "woods". Flanked by the emblems of the various colleges, it has a latin text on the verso and an illustration of an ancient stone circle.
Condition is good with some overall toning to the sheet, and a minor tear that just reaches into the right border. Image size is approximately 15.25 x 20.25 (inches)
