Featherland
This is the original pen and ink of the imaginary land that would be the setting for the children's book of the same title. Garson's book took a realistic but playful look at the nest building and the habits of many different birds as a fun introduction to the subject. Done in a beautiful hand with a strong art deco influence, some corrections and simple revisions are noticeable with marginal manuscript notations to the printers and editors. It is this map that is the source image for the end papers of the book. We offer this original with a first edition copy of the book
