Tallis produced some to the most decorative maps issued in the 19th century. All have baroque vignettes and unique ornate borders. The map of France is divided by departments and is surrounded by six small vignettes relating to native life of the region.
Condition is very good with a close top margin. Image size is 10 inches x 12.25 inches with some outline color.
