An early and sought after map of the state. Published in 1823, this rarity has a fine map in the center, surrounded by a text detailing the situation of the state,and its history. Shows many towns and roads for the state, as well as noting some of the land quality. Rare and early. The original hand color remains very bold.
Condition is good save for some discoloration to the centerfold, soiling, two spots of foxing on the map and some marginal staining. Image size with text 17 x 21 (inches)
