This early geologic map was probably the first to address the area not far from Pikes Peak. Spans from north of Colorado Springs, west to just beyond Manitou and shows considerable detail, including the street grid of Colorado Springs. Details well the topography, including its roads and railroad. And features a novel color pattern approach to denote seven different geologic strata.
