Just six years after the fall of Berlin and following V-E day, this News Map shows the division into zones of the captial city of Berlin. With detail for the French, British, US and Russian zones, it notes points of interest, and includes some telling graphics pertaining to Germany, such as its greatly diminished population. An inset world map and text discuss points of world news.
New maps began as a poster service supplied by the war department during WWII, that was meant to update people on the situation of the war abroad as well as efforts at home.
Condition is good with some minor cornerfold loss and wear, asn some old tape stain in the upper corners. Image size is 34 x 45 (inches)
