Tallis produced some to the most decorative maps issued in the 19th century. All have
baroque vignettes and unique ornate borders. The map of Hungary is surrounded by four small
vignettes relating to native life of the region including a scene on the Danube and Pest and the Beginnings of Buda.
Condition is very good with a close top margin. Image size is 10 inches x 13 inches with
some outline color.
