A favorite evolution off of Steinberg's famous premise. Centered on what has become the new heart of city, Millennium Park, and the famous Anish Kapoor sculpture, we see people enjoying, not enduring the downtown. Where it had been traffic congestion and nameless businesses, now there is a lightness, easy engagement and perhaps a new view on the city. While it does add in some landmark architecture to firm up the identity of the city, it leaves behind the "hog butcher of the world", and historic "mafia" ties to perhaps find a new way. In looking past the city we see the swelling Rocky Mountains, and some place names, and in the far distance we get hints of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Seattle Space Needle. Beyond the coast is a dream-like treatment of the rest of the world, returning back to the east coast shores of the U.S. and its key cities. Condition is very good. Overall size is approximately 28 x 22 (inches)
