(IL.-Chicago politics) War Profiteers, Seed, 1972 From the Chicago based underground newspaper "Seed" comes a practical map as part of the "Disruption!" approach to protesting the Vietnam War. These are the businesses headquartered in the downtown that you can "Visit These Companies Often And Let Them Know What You Think Of Their Making A Profit From Death". It's a wide net of companies from Standard Oil (9th & S. Michigan Ave.) to General Dynamics (Franklin & Washington, up to International Harvester (4th & Michigan). Each business is shown as to what they make or sell to the military, from electronics to vehicles to oil, and gives a practical point of contact for these large national/international companies. An obvious way to fight the man... based on a Gandhian ethic of non-cooperation and targeted allegiance. Colors are still strong, with the anticipated weaknesses and minor loss at corner folds. Image includes the front of back cover of this edition as well as the single page map for the Chicago downtown. Map size is approximately 16 x 10.5 (inches). Comes in the complete issue.
