(Il. - Chicago) WIND 560, Anon, c. 1985 It's hard to believe now, but there was once a time when "AM talk radio" was interactive and not stridently aligned to one political take. On air discussions could find the extremes on a topic, but also a much more reasoned "center" that was authentically very present. Indeed, on air personalities sought out a breadth of callers and didn't dismiss everyone of an "opposing" view. This promotional piece for WIND plays on the "windy city" pun, but shows some of the key places downtown and a diverse population that was caught up in the "WIND". Condition is very good with some minor misfolds, but very clean. Image size is approximately 15.5 x 21.5 (inches)
