As Indian Territory was slowly divided and claimed, the territory of Oklahoma grew toward the east. Here we see the final configuration for the Indian Territory. Even here the large reservations of the Cherokee, Choctaw, Seminole and Chickasaw are being subdivided into county configurations. Many railroad lines are noted along with small towns.
