A fine copperplate engraving of the island on a very clean sheet. Interestingly this map not only details Ireland and its nearby islands, but also notes the large "Nymph Bank" which spans most of the southern coast, just fifty miles out in the Atlantic. The island itself is divided into counties and handcolored by the provincial names of Ulster, Leinster, Connaught and Munster.

Condition is very good though the margins are close as typical of this map. Hand colored. Image size is 16 x 10 (inches)
