The Province Of Mounster
A fine map for this ancient area of Ireland, the province of Munster. Shows a wealth for towns and rivers, as well as some of the terrain and many nearby coastal islands. Two insets show the still small cities of Limerick ("Lymericke") and Cork ("Corcke"). A fine engraving with attractive hand color. In the sea are two sea monster, and winged monster in the "West Ocean" is being rode by someone playing a harp.
Condition is very good with one small set of pinholes near the centerfold, but not easily noticed. Image size is approximately 15.25 x 20.25 (inches)
