A nice map in its guide that shows the city's "historical walls & armistice demarcation lines 1948" along with the key buildings, roads and points of interest. Meant as a practical guide to the ancient city there are numerous stamped notations across the map to insure relevance from "Jewish Controlled Territory", "Arab Controlled Territory" to a stamped notation near Mt Scopus of "United Nations Controlled Territory". First issued in 1945, this is an attractive and practical reference documenting the great change that would occur.
Condition is good with some soiling to the guide and a very minor repaired opening tear on the map. Image size is approximately 15 x 21.5 (inches)
