This is a large early map of the two states where the evolving counties are shown in Kentucky, though nothing exists in Tennessee save for Indian and Military reservation boundaries. Numerous towns and roads are shown as well as notations of land quality in the west, such as "Gt. Cedars", and "Long grass little timber & light soil on the head of these rivers". A rare map.
Condition is good, with some light old folds and a close margin in the lower left. Image size is approximately 21.25 x 28.5 (inches)
