A beautiful cloth map of the cheeses of France showing the major groups and where they originate. Notes the general provincial names throughout and includes a key that numbers and identifies each. Numerous costume vignettes show the regional dress, as well as different means of transportation, from a ship and train to a very art deco looking airplane. An inset shows the two indigenous cheeses to be found in Corsica.
Condition is very good, with bold printed color that has remained very bold and articulate. Overall size is 24 x 17.5 (inches).
