A very large map that would be the ideal reference for the railroad buff or Louisiana historian. Not missing a thing for the railroads, the base map for the state of Louisiana is comprehensive and includes a serious look at the waterways as well. Indeed a chart in the lower left sums the total navigable waterways, rivers and lakes alike, all totalling 4,794 miles. The massive color coded chart near the title identifies each rail line which is color coded.
