Map of the City of New-York 1852.
A great map of the evolving city. Showing the expanding grid of the town and its shoreline with more and more proposed docks. Shows the boundaries of the wards, as well as the important "Fire Alarm" districts. Outlines a "Proposed Central Park", and notes some neighborhood names "Bloomingdale Village", "Yorkville", "Harlem", etc.
Condition is very good, with attractive hand color and a close left margin. Image size is 16 x 21 (inches).
