Recently losing the vast portion of the Southwest that was “Upper California” to the US, this map shows the extent of Mexico, just prior to the Gadsden purchase. Surrounded with several insets for portions of Central America as well as the valley of Mexico city, it shows a wealth for hydrography as well as placenames. Shows the major trails throughout.
