Mexico, Guatemala...

c. 1842

  • ~Catalog 55~
  • Mexico, Guatemala, and the West Indies.

A good map for the expanse of the Mexican Empire, reaching from Oregon to the southern reaches of Central America. Texas in this configuration is a "heart-shaped" independent republic with its captial in Austin. Throughout the present day Southwestern US, it is shown as two basic territories of "Upper California" and "New Mexico of Santa Fe". Shows some speculative rivers in the West that connect to Salt Lake and Lake Timpanagos and reach all the way to the Pacific Coast.

Condition is good, with some light hand color. Image size is 8 x 10 (inches).
