Lt. Maguire was among the first troops to reach the site of the battle. He drew this map based on the evidence that was still on the ground. It sketches the land and the troop movements as they appear to have occurred. The location of the bodies of each of the officers is noted as well. The classic map of the battle. Some light foxing.
