Mallet is known as a fine mapmaker for the genre miniature maps. These smaller fine copperplate engravings were published in the late 17th century, and printed on a great quality paper. This map shows a detailed view of the western reaches of Russia. Notes the major hydrography, as well as major cities and regional names.
