Man's Map of Wales
From a Welsh band, "Man", that played in what was a typical California style rock band, but whose identity was strongly rooted in being from Wales. Issued as part of one of their albums this map captures an interesting shift into Welsh ethnic identity as people are shown pushing off from England to be their own island. Notes the many towns with a particular local perspective. Interestingly one vignette in the north shows a man jailed as "Arrested - Suspect F.W.A." an acknowledgement of the Free Welsh Army, the Welsh paramilitary nationalist group that gained momentum in the late 1960's and early 1970's.
Condition is good, with some minor marginal tears, held in gatefold jacket. Overall size is approximately 24.5 x 24.5 (inches)
