A very rare map of the state issued on the nation's centennial, as part of a special publication celebrating the occassion, and done with a distinct sense of presentation. With printed color outlining the counties, railroad right of ways as well as numerous Indian reserves. Rich with towns, and rivers, it includes the military reserves, as well as the lifeline that was the transcontinental railroad. Most of northern Nebraska is still unsettled, with the northern panhandle labeled with "UNSURVEYED TERRITORY". Includes the land districts. We see no instance of this map being offered before through the price guide..
