An attractive and rare map for the Netherlands, nicely framed. The lion is a prominent symbol that figures into the coat of arms for both Belgium and the Netherlands and here is the outlining figure for the lands. A crisp engraving with attractive hand color, the map shows the major towns and rivers and in the nearby sea are several sailing ships and a large sea monster.
Condition is very good, and has been archivally framed and done with a period type frame. Some minor scuffing to the frame. Image size 5.75 x 7.5 (inches) and overall frame size is 15.5 x 13.75 (inches).
