Amazing, fastidious work. The base map of this endeavor is probably from the pen of Louis Nell, and the attention to detail is astounding. Reaching from just south of Santa Fe (not noted on the map), and east of Pecos, it spans down to Peralta, south of Albuquerque. Notes every trail, creek, town and land form, even noting locations of some buildings. An unbelievable reference which is color coded to show land classification from "Agricultural (with irrigation)" to "Timber" and "Grazing", to "Arid and barren".
